Bourne

Date: 1859  ·  Place: Bourne, Dorset  ·  Type: National well

"In reference to the good work in Bourne, I am thankful to say they are doing well; their Sabbath morning, seven o'clock prayer meeting being attended frequently by 100 poor people, though in a thinly populated neighbourhood: their chapel is now too small; they are building a larger one."

From, 'The Revival', Volume 1, August 13th.

This is one of the first recorded revivals in England during this UK revival.

It says Bourne, which must have been around the Bourne river.
