Bedale Baptist Church

Date: 1859  ·  Place: Bedale, Yorkshire  ·  Type: National well

BEDALE, Yorkshire.- During last month (March) we baptized thirty-one, eighteen of whom were young men; and on the first Lord's-day in April we received them at the Lord's-table.

About fifty others profess to have found peace through faith in the once crucified Saviour; several of whom have applied for baptism and fellowship; so, if all is well, we shall soon have to report more additions. We have had a glorious revival here, which is still going on, and if you think it worth while will send you some account of it.

[We shall be glad to hear of it.]

From, "The Baptist Register," May 1860, page 156.

This looks like it was a church and I guess the Baptists.
