The New Room (1770)

All this time it was observed, that there was an uncommon revival of the work of God, in all the societies around about. That in Kingswood, within a few months, increased from one hundred and eighteen to above three hundred members; and every day more and more were convinced of sin, and more and more enabled to rejoice in God their Savior. Mon, October 1, and the following days, I preached at many of the towns around Bristol and found the congregations increasing in every place.
