Kershader (1859)

A teacher of the Gaelic society recorded that in Kershader school house, during a Bible class for 10 to 12-year-olds, when reading about Christ's suffering in John 19, seven of them fell down on the floor, shedding tears and crying out. When asked what was the matter with them, they answered that they were crucifying Christ with their lives. A few nights later, during a meeting at the school house, 17 scholars began to shed tears and cry aloud, and some of them were not able to go home without the help of others.“
