This is where first John Whitefield and then John Wesley preached out-doors to the miners. This was the first significant event of Wesley's ministry. Many came to the Lord.
As you drive along Mount Hill Road East to West you will see the pulpit raised up on a hill to your right. It is laid back from the road.
