David Morgan was invited to the Presbytery meeting at Blaenannerch. This was an important meeting as some of the ministers were very sceptical about his ministry. His preaching did not go over well with the sceptical ministers, but the normal congregation were impacted. Whether they accepted him or not that evening the fire was lit and six weeks later 60 had been added to the church.
