Assembly Rooms - Newry (1875)

Last week there was observed there was a week of special services. Two meetings were held each day, the minister of all evangelical denominations, including Episcopal ministers of the town, uniting in conducting them. The day meeting was in the AssemblyRooms, which was filled. The evening meeting, owing to the great number that attended, had to be taken to one of the Presbyterian churches, and even then, many were unable to gain admittance, Many cases of conversion had taken place and the ministers of Newry hoped to reap the fruit of last week for many days to come.
