St Canna Church - Llangan
St Canna was the church of David Jones from 1768 until he died in 1810. He was known as the Angel of Llangan, having the reputation of being a wonderful preacher. He was a friend of Lady Huntingdon and was one of her chaplains. Jones preached all over Wales and in England. His first wife died and he re-married a woman of Pembrokeshire; as a result he preached much in that county.
The church is beautiful and if you stand in the pulpit you can almost feel the preaching anointing that was on Jones.
