Anderston Church of Scotland
From the beginning of September 1839, the Anderston church was open every night except Saturday, for three months, the earnest pastor (Alexander Neil Somerville) also setting apart a portion of every forenoon to converse with penitents in the session-house.
I do not know where the church was/is. Somerville left with his congregation at the Disruption in 1843 and moved into a new Free Church building.
